Play Songs rubber jazz band by parris mitchell Online - This is the first ever digital release of this sought-after Dance Mania classic (DM071) remastered from the original tapes. Co-produced by Jammin' Gerald and DJ Funk, with DJ Funk on vocals, this double pack was hugely popular locally at the time, and continues to exert influence on all the musics stemming from the original Chicago ghetto house sound.

Victor Parris Mitchell was introduced to Ray Barney (Dance Mania label owner) by Vince Lawrence, and began working at Ray's infamous Barney's Records one-stop in 1987. He started producing house music under the name Victor Romeo and had his first release on Bright Star Records, “You Can't Fight My Love”, that same year. His first release on Dance Mania was 1988's “Victor Romeo Presents Leatrice Brown - Love Will Find A Way”.

He went on to tour with Club Nouveau, was in the group Love Tribe, known for their club hit "Stand Up" (1996), and co-produced several major dance remixes.
